Lizard Lady and friend

This one has an interesting story... I was sketching on a 5 x 8 pad to see if I could come up with some poses for the lizard-lady you see on the left. Well, the first pose I sketched in seemed good enough to finish, so I added some details and decided to sketch in some weird looking demon for her to actually be swinging at.

And then, for whatever reason, I decided that I'd spend the next two hours hatching the daylights out of it. By the time I was done I could barely move my fingers. Take some advice, people: avoid arthritis, it doesn't really do much for your artistic leanings. What's worse is that now I've got a hankering for doing more work like this. Aargh...

You may see one or two scribble-lines that escaped the eraser after I inked it. For whatever reason, I grabbed a normal graphite pencil for this instead of the usual non-photo blue. Was that the reason that the rough sketch looked good enough to ink? Dunno...
